WELCOME TO
ASIAN PROFESSIONALS NATIONAL ALLIANCE
Asian Professionals’ National Alliance (APNA NHS) is a voluntary organisation constituting health and social care professionals of South Asian heritage working in the NHS and Local Authorities. APNA NHS aspires to amplify South Asian voices, influence policies, promote the values of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and champion health equity. Dedicated to addressing health inequalities, combating racism, and ensuring equal representation, APNA NHS is a catalyst for change. Through collaboration, we celebrate our cultural diversity, striving for a more inclusive NHS that values and benefits from our shared experiences for the benefit of patients and carers.
APNA NHS is formed of South Asian Heritage NHS health and social care workers and acts as a platform for us to have our collective voices heard through collaboration and active engagement.
APNA NHS’s members are passionate about using our network to influence, impact and create positive change for minority communities of South Asian heritage. We care deeply about patient care as well as the welfare, health, and wellbeing of all our NHS staff. Health Inequalities, anti-racism, ethnicity / gender pay gap and representation in C-suites and issues of equality diversity and inclusion are at the centre of everything that we do.
